Find out how we can fight for you >

Since our founding in 1994, the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno has been helping North Texas drivers just like you defend against all forms of traffic violations issued by law enforcement. Were you recently pulled over and issued a traffic ticket, perhaps in the Hunt County City of Cash? Then as a licensed driver, it is your responsibility to respond to your citation before it goes past due. No matter whether you hold a Class C driver's license or a CDL, and no matter why you were issued your traffic ticket (reasons commonly include speeding, disregarding a traffic control device, and failing to yield right of way), if you must either plead guilty to the offense you have been charged with, or dispute it in court. Because points will be added to your driving record if you plead guilty to your violation, and because you will also have a fine to pay, it may be in your better interest to challenge your traffic ticket instead. If Jack Byno & Associates is retained to help you accomplish this endeavor, a favorable plea deal, such as reduced fines, deferred adjudication, or State-approved driving safety courses, may be sought on your behalf in the Municipal Court. To find out more about our traffic ticket law firm and how we may be able to help you defend against your Cash violation, please fill out our Traffic Ticket Contact Form.

Drivers in Cash Challenge Questionable Speeding Tickets

Speeding tickets are written every day to motorists in the City of Cash, both to Class C driver and CDL holders. Although driving over the speed limit is an easy traffic offense to commit, it is still an illegal one, and you could written a speeding ticket if police radar catches you in the act. Just as with any other traffic violation you may be issued in Cash, you speeding ticket should be taken seriously and responded to in a timely manner. While pleading guilty to your offense and paying your fine is of course an option for you to consider, it may not be the wisest choice to make, especially if you cannot afford points added to your driving record. Instead, why not dispute your speeding ticket in an effort to defend your record? Jack Byno & Associates, if hired to help you dispute your violation, may be able to seek you a plea agreement as an alternative to points added to your record. Or, if you are convinced that your speeding violation was issued to you under questionable circumstances, we may also be retained to fight your citation at trial in an effort to get it dismissed.

Has the Cash Municipal Court Issued a Traffic Warrant for You?

Let's say that you have not made an effort to challenge your Cash speeding ticket, nor plead guilty to it. Whether you have purposefully neglected your violation or accidentally forgotten about it, if it is now overdue, the Cash Municipal Court may soon issue a warrant for your arrest as a penalty. If a traffic warrant has been issued for you, your imminent arrest is a possibility at any time of the day or night, especially during the Great Texas Warrant Roundup (a time of year during which law enforcement makes an especial effort to locate and arrest motorists with pending traffic warrants). Fortunately, if you are hoping to avoid arrest and time behind bars, the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno may be retained to get your traffic warrant lifted. If we are successful in our attempts to get your warrant lifted, and are also able to post bond for you, you will be safe from arrest (even during Warrant Roundup season) and your case may later be represented by our law firm in court.

CDL Holders Take on Cash Traffic Violations with Attorney's Help

Professional drivers, who include truckers, emergency vehicle operators, and bus drivers, hold a specific kind of DL, known as a commercial driver's license (CDL), especially for their work. A CDL holder faces more driving restrictions than the average motorist, and could, in a worst-case scenario, lose their jobs if issued a speeding ticket or other traffic violation while driving in Cash, Texas. This is because CDL holders' careers are dependent upon their clean driving records and responsible driving habits, and if they plead guilty to any traffic offense they have been charged with, points consequently added to their records could jeopardize their reputations as safe drivers. It may therefore be in the better interest of a commercial motorist to challenge their Cash CDL or trucking violation, rather than plead guilty to it, in an effort to protect their records and means of living from points otherwise added. If you believe that your case would benefit from professional legal representation, keep in mind that Jack Byno & Associates has been defending CDL holders in court for over 20 years, just as long as we have been defending Class C motorists. Although deferred adjudication and defensive driving courses are not available to CDL holders, out lawyers are experienced and may still be able to work out a satisfactory deal for you in court so that your clean record may remain free of points.

Cash Motorists- Has Your Driver's License Been Suspended by DPS?

Has the Department of Public Safety mailed you a Notice of Suspension? It may have if you have habitual Cash traffic violations on your driving record, or have recently been convicted of a grave traffic offense, such as drunk driving (DWI). Do not be alarmed if you have received this notice; it does not necessarily mean that your driver's license has already been suspended, but rather that it will be, within 20 calendar days, unless you request and are granted a DL suspension hearing. If Texas DPS has granted you a hearing at which to challenge the looming suspension of your driver's license, but you believe that you may have a better chance at getting your suspension overruled with legal defense on your side, consider retaining professional representation from the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno.

In the past our law firm has been successful in getting DL suspension overruled in the Hunt County Justice Court for our Cash clients, but in the case that you have already lost a DL suspension hearing that was granted to you (or you were not scheduled one in the first place), you may now be struggling to find transportation to work, school, the grocery store, and other locations non-negotiable to daily life. If this is the situation you have found yourself in, you may be interested in applying for an Occupational Driver's License, or ODL. If an ODL is granted to you, you may use it to drive legally to the places you require access to on a day-to-basis, for the entirety of you Cash DL suspension. In the instance that you do not know why Texas DPS has designated your driver's license for suspension to begin with, you may find the answers you are looking for by reviewing a copy of your Texas Driving Record.
